The Imaginet Academy encompasses multiple methods of providing technology skills transfer (training and education) to our customers. One of the key success factors for implementing new technologies and internally supporting those technologies, is for employees to have the necessary skills to plan, build and maintain new technology solutions.
Our learning and skills transfer programs allow customers to absorb the cutting-edgeskills needed for designing and implementing technology solutions, while concentrating on issues unique to your business environment.
Imaginet provides multiple learning and skills transfer methods and learning, including:
Mentoring – Mentoring provides 1:1, on-site, technical expertise and guidance to customer employees in order to apply learned concepts to a specific customer project. Imaginet consultants work closely with the customer employees as they apply newly learned skills to projects. Imaginet consultants coach the employees, answer questions and verify that learned skills are applied correctly to projects. Our customers prefer this method more and more because it solves “just-in-time” learning requirements and provides a noticeable and measurable business impact.
Classroom/mentoring combinations – In many cases classroom training is used to level-set the basic knowledge requirements for a group of individuals for a particular technology. Higher level concepts are taught in a “ hands’-on, on the job” scenario to customer employees as they apply newly learned skills to a specific project.
Classroom training – Pre-packaged, modified or customized group training. Classroom training is designed to deliver multiple high-level concepts and hands –on labs to a group of customer employees in a traditional classroom format. Classroom training is delivered at the customer’s site for customer convenience.
Facilitated learning – This consists of a recommended self-paced learning program that is facilitated by an Imaginet consultant trainer at specific intervals. This scenario works well for remotely distributed teams. A combination of recommended books, e-learning, webinars surveys and conferencing can be considered for facilitated learning.
Seminars - Imaginet schedules in-person seminars from time to time to provide awareness about technology capabilities or applicability in showcasing different scenarios of how technology can be implemented for a particular requirement, audience or industry.
Webinars (LiveMeetings) Webinars provide a convenient way over the Internet to reach large, geographically distributed audiences at the convenience of their office . Typoical webinars are 1-hour in duration and provide high-level concepts.
